Remember when there used to be record stores in Philly? Places like Sam Goody, Wall to Wall Sound, Record Museum, Radio 437, Jerry's Records, Listening Booth, Treegoob's, Jolley's and so many more. One of our favorite places for platters was the old Paramount Record Stores in North Philly, where you could not only try it before you'd buy it, but you could pick up tickets for all the great live shows presented at the Uptown by WHAT and WDAS.. Those were paramount times, cuz.
