Description

One day in 1961 she's a student at Philadelphia's Curtis Institute of Music, then she's playing piano at the Queen Mary Lounge in the old Hotel Rittenhouse, then within a year she has a recording contract, changed her name to Nina Simone and she's on her way to becoming a jazz sensation. On Friday, September 21, 1962 Nina played the legendary Pep's Showbar to rave reviews and soon had one of the op jazz albums on the charts--"My Baby Just Cares For Me.'" Our handsomely restored poster is from the first of many club dates Nina played in Philly over the years. Size 16x17.
PLEASE NOTE: Our posters are professionally reproduced on premium matte photo stock, not cheap poster paper.
