Back in the 80s when The Bangles had everybody walking like an Egyptian, restaurants and dance clubs that catered to the craze of Middle Eastern culture and cuisine started popping up all over town. One of our favorites was located at 21st & Arch, not far from the banks and bulrushes of The Schuylkill, a popular place called Memphis. You could pop in for lunch, happy hour, dinner, drinking and dancing to make an entire day and night of it!
