It began as Le Banana Noir at 534 South Street in 1970 then moved to 3rd & Race in hot Old City in the late 70s to become the mecca for music and fashion and one of the most decadent after-hours private clubs in town. With glassed walled unisex bathrooms featuring two-way mirrors and plenty of party spaces with various nooks and crannies where mischievous customers could get their groove on, the BB was the greatest time in town till the late 80s. Fashion fit available.
