If you grew up in West Philly during the 40's or 50's you surely remember Barson's Grille of 60th Street. Proprietor Leon Barson and his family whipped up the best ice cream sundaes in town, and if you were in the mood for a nosh there were plenty of overstuffed sandwiches and platters to choose from. Barson's of 60th Street is long gone but their great tradition lives on, and they're still scooping the big shissel!
