Would you believe that Philadelphia, was once a mecca for modern jazz! There were clubs all over town featuring the best bands, quartets, trios, combos and soloists! The year 1957 was even more special because 11,000 jazz enthusiasts filled Convention Hall to dig the very first all-star jazz festival in Philly. Miles Davis was the big name attraction, but his "all-stars" included some of the finest musicians of the day. This handsomely restored poster is a blast from the past. 12 x 19
